Out of date
A printed board
- A new price means a new print run
- Every screen is changed by hand
- Easy to forget, easy to get wrong
Turn any TV into a menu board that looks like a poster. Design it by drag and drop, connect it to your live prices, and every change reaches your screens in seconds.
Why a screen
Printed boards are slow to change and easy to forget. A screen that follows your dashboard never is.
Out of date
Live
Every new price means a new print run and someone to put it up. A screen changes while you finish your coffee.
The counter, the window and the drive-through all show the same prices, because they all read the same dashboard.
Photos, offers and a little motion catch the eye and help guests decide, instead of a wall of small print.
How it works
No designer, no technician, no trip to the screen.
Your products, prices and photos are already in the 24order dashboard. Create a screen and choose what it shows.
Pick a design, drag things into place, change colours and fonts. Every change is a step you can undo.
Open the screen’s address in the TV’s browser. Press Save whenever you change something and the TV updates by itself.
Why 24order TV Menu
Eight things that make the difference when a screen is the first thing a guest reads.
Foods, sizes and prices come from your 24order dashboard. Change one and the counter, the window and the drive-through all follow.
Change a price and every screen shows it within 5 to 10 seconds, without anyone touching a TV.
New prices and foods come in without a blink or a reload, so a guest never sees a half-changed menu.
Your colours, your fonts, your logo, and more than 20 designs to start from. Or let an AI design one.
A slideshow shows one dish at a time, big, with every size and price. More than 25 animations when you want movement.
Landscape, portrait, 4:3 or ultra-wide. Open one address in the TV’s browser and it runs, even on an older Smart TV. Nothing to install.
Write your menu in any language, left to right or right to left. The editor’s guides come in English, Norwegian, Arabic and French.
Medium, Large, 130 g: every size gets its own price column. Show allergy numbers as plain numbers or in small rings.
What it does
Design, prices, photos, motion and every screen in the building, in one place.
The editor
Drag your foods onto the board, pull a corner to resize, type to rename. The editor is built for speed, so a busy manager can fix a menu in a minute.
Live prices
The board is not a picture of your menu. It reads your dashboard, so what guests see is what you sell today.

Slideshows and motion
A slideshow screen shows one dish at a time, big, with its photo, its name and every size and price. Add motion where it helps.
Designs
Start from a ready-made design. Your own foods and prices fill it in, then change anything you like.

Drawings of the kinds of styles you can start from.
Compare
A fair comparison: what each way of showing a menu is good at, and where it stops.
| Printed board | Slideshow on a USB stick | 24order TV Menu | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Changing a price | Print and replace | Edit, export, copy to each TV | Type it once, screens follow |
| All screens match | If somebody remembers | Only if every stick is updated | They read the same dashboard |
| Tied to your menu data | No | No, prices are typed in | Foods, sizes and prices from the dashboard |
| No visit to the screen | Somebody must hang it | Somebody must plug it in | Updates by itself |
| Photos and motion | Fixed, one look | Yes, designed from scratch | Yes, from ready-made designs |
| Works when the internet drops | Always | Plays from the stick | Shows the last menu it had |
Reliable
A menu on the wall has to work every day, with nobody looking after it.
In the editor, with your PIN.
The menu lives in one place, with 24order.
Each TV checks for changes by itself and shows them.
If the connection drops, the screen keeps showing the last menu it had and checks again by itself. Nothing goes blank.
The page runs in the browsers of older TVs, so you do not have to replace the screens you already have.
Only people with the PIN can change the menu. The screens on the wall never ask for one.
Undo and redo everything, lock finished work, and a draft is kept if the page closes by accident.
And the details
Show each dish’s photo beside its line, on a card, or as big pictures at the sides.
Show foods as cards, draw frames and lines, add logos, texts and labels anywhere on the board.
Choose from a rich list, upload your own font file or add one from Google Fonts.
Save the look of one screen and put it on another, with the foods of that screen.
Keep text inside the safe area of the TV, and let lines snap into tidy columns.
Select many things, align and group them, and lock finished work so it cannot move.
Choose where the currency sits, how big it is and how it looks, or leave it out.
A guide inside the editor, and a full documentation page that explains every how-to.

Part of 24order
24order has built restaurant software since 2016. The TV menu uses the same dashboard as the rest of the suite, so there is one place to keep your menu.
